EP31 What They Don’t Teach In Nursing Schools

Hey Girlfriends! Welcome back to the Nurse to Nurse podcast! 

 

Today, we are going to talk about the things that we nurses did not learn in nursing school.

 

I know that we learned many things from nursing school right? They taught as so much. They taught us how to be good to other people. They taught us the privilege to help people that are in the most vulnerable times of their lives. They taught us how to prioritize care for our patients.

 

All in all nursing school taught us how to be a nurse, how to earn money with caring for people in an organization like hospital settings, home clinical type settings and a lot more. 

 

But as I grow my business, what I realize is nursing school did not teach us how to be able to take our expertise and skill and still drive impact to the world, still care for people and monetize our own knowledge. 

 

They didn’t teach us how we can do so much more with our knowledge and skill. 

 

And today we are going to talk about that. I’m going to disrupt the space that does not align any longer with the things that nursing school teaches us.
