Alright, so this is the last episode of the Nurse to Nurse podcast for the year 2022 and I think it’s really a good time to have this conversation with you about the scarcity mindset as we’re wrapping up 2022, leaving what wasn’t serving us and showing up in 2023 with a bang and making sure that we have the growth mindset as we welcome the New Year! 
 
So, many times, we want to start a business and it’s easy for us to do the technical things (buy a domain name, choose branding colors), right? But we don’t think about the things that really should be there to help us grow our businesses. 
 
One thing I know about being in business for years now, there are some very obvious things that we’re able to identify in our businesses but then, there are also some things that are very subtle that we don’t get a chance to see. 
 
You might hear people talk about scarcity mindset all the time and I know we all have an idea about what is it, but what is a scarcity mindset in business? How does it affect your business growth?

EP31 What They Don’t Teach In Nursing Schools

Hey Girlfriends! Welcome back to the Nurse to Nurse podcast! 
 
Today, we are going to talk about the things that we nurses did not learn in nursing school.
 
I know that we learned many things from nursing school right? They taught as so much. They taught us how to be good to other people. They taught us the privilege to help people that are in the most vulnerable times of their lives. They taught us how to prioritize care for our patients.
 
All in all nursing school taught us how to be a nurse, how to earn money with caring for people in an organization like hospital settings, home clinical type settings and a lot more. 
 
But as I grow my business, what I realize is nursing school did not teach us how to be able to take our expertise and skill and still drive impact to the world, still care for people and monetize our own knowledge. 
 
They didn’t teach us how we can do so much more with our knowledge and skill. 
 
And today we are going to talk about that. I’m going to disrupt the space that does not align any longer with the things that nursing school teaches us.
